MOS (Military Occupational Specialty)?
I am retired Army 73-93 and I read that immeadatly as Combat Secondary Military Occupational Specialty.
Cardiff by the Sea is the trim ring, and about a mile from where I took this photo, but how interesting that "Combat Secondary Military Occupational Specialty" is also an exact match!
