if you want to see a lot of 30s and 40s vehicles in a movie you can enjoy, but probably haven't seen since the 80s... I recommend Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Exec produced by Spielberg and Frank Marshall, directed by Zemekis, a couple movies before Forrest Gump, with Christopher Llyods best acting performance

1930s replica streetcar was made for the movie by Dean Jeffries

it was the last movie Betty Boop was in with her original voice actress, it was the last movie for Mel Blanc also

This movie is the only time cartoon characters from Walt Disney and Warner Bros. have appeared together on-screen.

Since the movie was being made by Disney's Touchstone Pictures, Warner Bros. would only allow use of their biggest cartoon stars, Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, if they got as much screen time as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. For that reason, they were always in pairs, such as the piano battle between Daffy and Donald and the parachute scene with Bugs and Mickey. This was continued with Porky Pig and Tinkerbell at the movie's ending.

Tim Curry auditioned for the role of Judge Doom. His performance was too scary

Bill Murray was offered the role Bob Hoskins played. Since his trademark voicemail system for getting contacted for work, instead of an agent, or real phone number, was delayed in his hearing the offer, the role went to Bob Hoskins. Eddie Murphy turned down the role

Several voice actors make cameos as the voice of the character(s) they have played before.
These are Tony Anselmo (Donald Duck),
Wayne Allwine (Mickey Mouse),
and Mel Blanc (Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Sylvester, and Tweety Bird).
But most noticeable is Mae Questel as Betty Boop. Mae did Betty's voice from 1930 until the character was retired in 1939. Mae Questel then became Popeye the Sailor's girlfriend, Olive Oyl.
