the upcoming Prewar Car Show & Tour at the historic Stone Gables Estate in Elizabethtown, Pa still needs more participating period correct pre-WWII cars to join up for Saturday July 29th

Participants will ride in the 1863 steam locomotive on the estate’s private railroad and tour the only replica of the Abraham Lincoln funeral car. 

A photographer will also be stationed at the covered bridge to take professional photos of you and your car. 

You’re also welcome to drive your antique car around the private roads and trails on the 275 acre property, which are perfect for early cars, as they are closed to modern traffic!

Participants are also free to tour the historic Star Barn and outbuildings. 

Colonel John Motter was the visionary behind this estate...  and the Star Barn in particular, showcased his prize horses. 

In addition to his remarkable success with raising horses, thousands of which he sold to the U.S. Cavalry during and after the Civil War, Motter was a bank president, and hotel owner
