A couple days ago I posted a strange scooter used by the Hudson NY police dept, which Kim recognized as a Fuji Rabbit, which Steve found out, only had one dealership, exclusively, and that was here in San Diego

After Rabbit left it was a series of used car dealerships and at one time a bank. 

In the 1960s the "California Keg & Liquor" store on the corner was known as "Pump Handle Liquor."

 

Fuji Heavy Industries (nee Nakajima Aircraft Company) finally changed its official name to Subaru Corporation.
