and not only did they write tickets, they give nag lectures, in this case, Senior Sergeant Shaune English, officer in charge of the Calliope Highway Patrol group in the Gladstone region, stated:
"components sticking out through the bonnet, pose a "real risk" to pedestrians.
"Most cars are actually designed that in the event of a low-speed pedestrian crash the pedestrian actually goes up over the bonnet," he said.
"So, when you've got moving parts of the engine sticking up there that's not really good for the pedestrians."
Hey, asshole, you're a moron, and got it wrong, deliberately to suit your asshole purposes. Cars just aren't designed with superchargers out the hood because car companies aren't making dragsters.
it's not Shaune's fault. His parents gave him that idiot spelling of his name and doomed him to spend the rest of his life antagonizing others in revenge. What a twit
C'mon, they guy didn't follow the local vehicle code, and got caught. That said, it's clearly one of those instances where a decent cop would just look the other way and let Mad Max Jr. drive on and enjoy his special.
ReplyDeleteThe cops need to lighten up. They are in Australia, so they should know that this is a replica of the Mad Max movie car and the owner probably mostly drives it to shows and not as a daily driver.
