Take a look on Hagerty at the REALLY nice RR they cut up into this mess. Why cut up a clean survivor when you are going to change EVERYTHING? https://www.hagerty.com/media/news/kevin-hart-is-floored-by-his-new-69-roadrunner-custom-muscle-car/ This should be illegal.
I saw it... I suspect they chose it because it was rust free. It was a tan 383 ordinary RR, and likely cost a lot less than a 440 or 426 bird. I certainly would avoid any car with rust, that cancer is everywhere you can't see, eating away at the chassis, frame, body, etc. Should it be illegal? Well, I am firmly opposed to any govt regulation, and believe we ought to be free to do anything that doesn't hurt anyone else. I'd rather let the seller decide to not sell to someone that is going to flip a car for profit, alter it in a stupid way, use it in a demo derby, etc. Anyway, I saw it, all the car sites are showing the same gallery of photos. The "before" photo is the last one in the gallery. Have you got a muscle car? Oh, and the hood scoop? WTF is this thing? Why the hell didn't he go with the 440 6 pack scoop?
Nice car. I hope he doesn't let his friend drive this one.
ReplyDeleteI think John Jackson from NotStock Photography is taking pictures at about 7:44 in the video.

The illegal comment was made tongue in cheek. Sorry about that. I agree with you.
