but spent a couple hours catching up with a old friend for 2 hours. He's in a bad way psychiatrically. Life took a dump on him, after he quit a 30 year smoking habit, for starters, and raising 3 boys, 2 of which are not typical kids. One is 15, the other is 8.
So we caught up a bit. Aaaaand it's not time to commence blogging (which you'll see was obvious as this message will follow the posts I finally got time to do
Thanks for what you do, but never forget you have a life too.
ReplyDeleteyou're welcome, and thanks! I get a lot of satisfaction, posting car, designs, art, news, and I love digging into things to make a well researched article, that hopefully will be the best one on the internet about that one topic, like Walter Early
DeleteNot a problem . life is as it is . you take care I'll follow as you post , I'm mostly silent because I mostly agree with you . I realize that thing's happen , you don't need to tell me or apology . I thank you for the content you have put out and anything you find the time to add i thank you . I do injoy the older car's as that is what i drove back in the 60's and 70's . As for the aircraft I tried to get my pilot's certif in 76 so more good stuff from you on them . On the train's , i remember as a kid mother giving a baby bottle to a steward to heat up on a steam powered train for my brother some where between Little Rock Ark. and San Diego when we were going to join my father who was on the U.S.S Kearsarge . Again Thank you .
ReplyDeleteWhat he said. Thanks for everything, so far.^^^^^^^^^
DeleteThanks! I rarely talk on the blog, as a post, but now and then, it's nice to let people know what's going on personally that affects the amount of content they are used to seeing. I'd forgotten this, until last week when I got a call asking if I was ok. In view of Joe Sherlock dieing, and not letting us know his cancer was killing him, I now think it's a great idea to note when and why things are off kilter. Also, all the people getting covid... which I haven't yet had to deal with.
DeleteCOmpliments on the pilots license Nytwatch1!
And wow, a cross country trip on a steam locomotive... dang!
