wow, that boat trailer lasted a long long time... from wood spokes until the 50s, but then, so did the boat. Things like that don't get used much (the trailer gets used a lot less than the boat even) and lasted a long time
The trailer is even cooler than it looks, if you pay attention, you'll notice a rear axe and a hood ! Probably cheaper than a custom made trailer, and (if it still ran) definitely easier to back up in the water ! This is awesome !
