That's a great picture, you don't get to see service equipment of this era. The plane is a DC-3, the trucks in the background are 1946/47 Fords so that places this in the early post war period. The truck on the left is a lavatory service truck or "LST." The one on the right provides power for starting, and for servicing, probably some sort of preconditioned air for the cabin.
Wow, thanks Al! You're right, service trucks are incredibly rare to find in photos.... and omg, a sewage tanker? Damn, that might make it the rarest "type" of vehicle I've ever posted! And huh, good point, that one on the right had me very stumped. Air or power, or both! Appreciating your astute observations!
