The road through life is rarely direct, some people find it leads through some surprising places before they land on their feet. Chris Jacobs of Overhauling for example, went to law school and passed the California Bar Exam

He grew up in Chicago, after high school he went to California to get a Bachelors in English, then finished school with a degree in law.

Then he switched gears and went into acting instead.

Which led to movies, tv series, and being the host of Overhaulin'.

So, instead of lawyering up, he worked with Johnny Depp, Charlie Sheen, etc., then worked with Chip Foose fixing up cool cars.
