There are a few backwoods locations here in Central NY that still do.There are still more locations with the 3 cables on steel posts... Im not sure what 3 loose cables do for you to keep your car on the road...
Cool!I think the intent and design is to slow the car, absorb the force of impact, and redirect a car from straight off the road to down along the side of the road
