probably the most well preserved Constellation existing, and abandoned for over 40 years... that must make it eligible for scrappers to claim it as salvage

this Lockheed C-121 Constellation, which crashed on October 8, 1970 while trying to deliver personnel to McMurdo Station, thankfully there were no fatalities in the accident.

The plane, named Pegasus, became the namesake of the airfield it currently resides in.
