A "pal" on FB is looking at a 2016 Shelby Mustang GT 350, that is a local dealer, for only $100k.
ReplyDeleteLike Packards of the day, I cant tell, and there seems to be virtually little outside visible difference between the lowly 4 cylinder vs. something like this.
But I am also not a fan of Mustangs... So there is that bias...
Visually there isn't much difference to me either... but the GT 350 is a track beast. This commuter here is a very nice street car, but like the 1965 289 stang or the GT 350, there is a lot of performance difference.
DeleteI'm not a fan of the new stangs myself either. I just don't car for Ford interiors. They feel weird to me
I have a 2014 Ford Transit Connect Wagon XTL LWB, say that ten times fast.
ReplyDeleteThe carpet seems to be slightly elevated from the actual floor. Where the seat are bolted in, there are large gaps that allow things to fall in to the abyss. Somewhere in one of the voids is a 64 Gig thumb drive, that I cant seem to find.
I also have to take a cover off the bottom of the entire engine compartment to change the oil, since they didnt put holes where the filter or oil plug could be accessed... There is a hole for the tranny to leak though, if it starts, thank goodness for that...
damn... sounds like a weekend project to tear out the interior to get that thumbdrive!
