Hey, what the hell is the story on this "Expreso Tamarindo #4" weird shaped car in the 1957 Cuban Grand Prix?

I looked around, and couldn't find anything

  1. This is a odd looking machine. Lots of rear overhang, wheel wells don't seem to fit, windshield looks like its from something else. Moretti maybe?.

  2. The taillight looks like an early 50s Cadillac and the front looks like an early 50s Studebaker.

  3. Looks like a variant of a BMW Veritas...German car builder used BMW engines. One has been featured on TV show Chasing Classic Cars.

    1. Henry Js have a distinct couple of body lines around the wheel well, that this gold car does not have. The headlight trim rings are from Studebaker Champion, a more oval shape, and a Henry J has round trim rings
