it's so uncommon for a city street to be so isolated that it can have a volleyball or badminton court painted on it. There are only about 6 houses on this street
Growing up in The Bronx in the late 1940's and the 1950's, we used side streets this way. If we needed lines, we used chalk. "Car coming!" was a call that we heeded.
