the license plates on this Karmann Ghia expired 12 years ago, and I can't tell what's in front of it. An early Chevelle maybe?
these Fords were parked one car van apart
license plates expired 2 years ago
and this BMW has been neglected a long time... those spiderwebs have withstood several recent rainstorms. License plates expired 2 or 3 years ago. Cops do not bother coming through these RICH neighborhoods... there was even a sign that this street was going to get resurfaced.
It doesn't need any work, not ANY... but the city is going to waste the budget resurfacing this street anyway, instead of fixing the many HIGH traffic roads around here that are in TERRIBLE condition.
I'd like to have that El Camino.
ReplyDeletethat is not an El Camino. It's a GMC, says so right on the tailgate.
DeleteSo, if I recall correctly, from 1971 to 77, it's a Sprint. Between 1978 and 1987 it's a Caballero, with one of the 3 packages: Diablo, Laredo, and Amarillo packages.
Change the stickon emblems and you have an El Camino, there isn't a whit of difference otherwise is there?
DeleteI haven't compared them. Just because GM made Chevy and Pontiac cars that were nearly identical, and Ford and Mercurys were nearly identical, and Plymouth and Dodge, etc etc... are you proposing we not recognize them as different?
DeleteThat's just crazy
I had a '79 ElCamino, without the stick on badges you couldn't tell the difference. I'm not responding to your other straw man comments. Love your site, but you are always a dick.
ReplyDeleteyes I am, since Mary Poppins quit, it's just been me keeping this blog going. I asked your mom to step up, but, well, you know her. Grumpy.
