Jaguar has unveiled its new brand identity, marking the beginning of its EV-only era. And it's likely the stupidest thing I've seen all year. They don't even show, or mention what the hell the poses are supposed to sell

So, if in the upcoming days you hear about investors abandoning Jag, the stock plummeting, and the whole damn company shutting down after a faceplant heard around the world, you'll know why

Thanks George!

Jaguar has officially revealed a complete overhaul of its branding identity, signaling the start of its transition to an all-electric lineup. The British automaker introduced a bold new logo in anticipation of the highly awaited Jaguar Design Vision Concept, set to debut on December 3.

This concept car will give a glimpse into a future luxury electric sedan slated for production in 2025, as part of the brand’s ambitious plan to redefine itself in the luxury electric vehicle market.

Managing Director Rawdon Glover referred to the rebranding as a “complete reset,” acknowledging the boldness required to transform the brand. To complement the unveiling of the new design language, Jaguar will host a series of gallery exhibitions in Miami, showcasing works from emerging artists who embody the brand’s ethos of originality and innovation.

Glover said, and I quote "We assume that 10-15% of our current Jaguar customers will follow us, so relatively few."

Bev Turner, a British television host on the conservative-leaning GB News channel, said the ad looked like Jaguar asked artificial intelligence to create the “wokest, most pretentious, gender-ambiguous piece of self-satisfied A-level art.”

  1. It's not April first! The only way this could survive is if too many old proper British gentlemen and ladies have passed on and will not be able to protest. sadly, this may be the case. Still I hope like Jesse said they will head plant. Come back Clarkson, Hammond and May and tell Jag how you really feel.

Maybe Jaguar will get it when they go out of business! And to think I thought RAP was bad.
Buy a early used Jag and stuff a Chevy V-8 in it and have fun.

  3. May be wrong but I think Jaguar is no longer British. However, you are right...It will be the end of a once proud company with much sporting success to its credit.

  4. I'm not in the market for a Jaguar, so it won't affect me at all, but it does seem like very bad business decisions. I'm curious what Jeremy Clarkson would have to say about this reimagining of "Jaaaaaag".

  5. What a travesty! I would bet that none of those folks could even drive a '65 E Type Jag.. I had a 1959 XK 150 that was a real hoot to drive.. I reckon the company is firmly stating that they want no more of anything close to those cars! Sad to see.
