Probably the result of using a tractor set up to only haul box trailers trying to haul lumber without a headache rack and on a load not securely restrained with 4" wide straps every 4 to 6 feet. I saw more than a few deadly wrecks back in the 70's because of inadequate or missing headache racks, especially with lumber haulers.
You got it Gary! Part of building the deck on the back of my tractor was adding a headache rack. Just in case that tied down car came loose in a wreck.
