'63 has a split rear window...The fake side vents are the same for '63-'64.... '65-66 has vertical fake side vents.. The '63 has some kinda chrome on top of the hood on both sides.... I've had 'em all... Wish I had a large garage and $$$ pockets to have kept them. Upriverdavid
So the only distinguishing features that would identify a 63 are the split rear window, and the chrome fake grill inserts in the hood? Then when looking at a 63 convertible, the only identifier are the chrome fake grill inserts in the hood? And if looking at a convertible, and it doesn't have the chrome fake grill inserts, it's a 64? And if it doesn't have the chrome fake grill inserts and it doesn't have the fake horizontal side vents, it will have vertical side vents, and what then distinguishes a 65 from a 66?
Very close Jesse, it's a 63.Drum sticker does make one wonder...
ReplyDeleteVisually what distinguishes a 63 from a 64? Or 65? What do you see on this that would not be found on a 64?
