the most adorable movie you're likely to see soon, Mrs Harris Goes To Paris (1958 book)- has two adorable leads and great 1950s cars like this Renault, and Vespas

the main character goes to Paris to buy a Christian Dior dress, and meets one of the models and quickly becomes her friend... she drives this great choice for a movie car, a drop top Renault Caravelle

Just my opinion, but the ADORABLE supporting actress looks a bit like Audrey Hepburn

  1. I always liked the look of the Caravelle. Neat little car...occasionally I see one buzzing around near Land's End in San Francisco.

  3. By the way, just for those looking for a fun read, the movie (which I agree was fun) is based on a book by Paul Gallico, who also wrote the very amusing "Adventures of Hiram Holliday," (which was long ago made into a TV series with Wally Cox), and "The Snow Goose," which became a hit movie long ago (if something of a tear-jerker) starring Richard Harris and Jenny Agutter. In that one, Harris plays a crusty fisherman who joins the ad hoc flotilla that comes to the WWII rescue in Dunkirk.
