It's hard to stand out in Mira Mesa in the Asian car area of San Diego. But this does it.

and when I looked around Youtube for the finished commercial, instead, I found this... from the neighborhood kids who went over to check out the scene while the sun was still up

I realize it's not exciting, but I've never seen a right hand drive 2 door Honda Aerodeck station wagon before, probably because it's imported from Japan, and it's an 85 or 86

Small-size JDM vehicles are being targeted for deregistering by DMVs in Maine and Rhode Island

 Rhode Island has no state laws restricting the use of kei-class vehicles on public roads, and the only rule RI states for justification is that “They do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards”—a moot point since they were imported under the 25-year law, which states, “A motor vehicle that is at least 25 years old can be lawfully imported into the U.S. without regard to whether it complies with all applicable FMVSS.”

Also, no one at Hagerty brought up that any wood spoke, brass era car, won't meet any safety standards either

Maine began deregistering small Mitsubishi Delica vans in April, and Rhode Island started down a similar path earlier this month, notifying registered owners of kei cars and trucks that their Japanese rides could no longer be driven on public roads and they should turn in their plates.

Spotted this a block from it's driveway as the owner was headed home.. I got lucky and didn't have to chase it down to get photos of it
