outstanding Fageol (been a long time since I've posted one) with Woodlites!

    1. yes, they worked poorly from what I've read over the past 2 decades. It's all in the posts under Woodlights : https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/search/label/woodlight%20headlights even the patent. They simply looked great, and since rarely does anyone with the amount of money who buys a Ruxton or DuPont, actually use headlights, or need them in the city, it wasn't a problem. They were the look needed for 99 percent of the time, and hell, they still worked better than the previous generation of calcium carbide acetylene headlights, so, much like using a VW Bug set of headlights from the 60s once a person gets used to the typical HID headlights, it sucks comparatively, but they still get the job done.

      I was on a tour at night and a car had the Woodlites on it. Great looking light, I agree. So far as being to see anything with the light they cast - well - you get more illumination when you press the button on your wristwatch to see what time it is. I have found that Marchal lights and Grebel lights are fairly decent for after dark illumination.
