It's been a while since I've heard about a cool kitchen story/charity that I can share, so this is cool to learn of! 55% volunteering, 45% paid with donations, it's a innovative mix of how to support a charity that uses locally sourced fresh food

If you've recently came across this blog, you are likely wondering "what the hell has this got to do with car stuff?" But it almost always does, somehow, and when it doesn't, it's because I can simply be awed and amazed so much at the philanthropy, or innovation, or simply the effort to create and maintain a charity that helps people who need a meal, or a place to stay, that I'll post about them to help spread the word and show respect for the people that create, work, or innovate a charity.

Maybe, learning about the charity will motivate a reader to help them, or, make something similar.

Here's the scoop on this one:

JBJ Soul Kitchen is a non-profit Community Restaurant established by the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation. They serve paying customers and those in-need. If you are unable to pay, you can still come into the restaurant to enjoy a warm meal and learn about volunteering opportunities at JBJ Soul Kitchen. If you can donate, great, that's the best way to keep the kitchen open, they only ask that you make a suggested donation or even do a Pay it Forward donation for someone else's meal

There are no prices on the menu. Instead, they offer a suggested donation to our paying customers and  ask that you Pay it Forward to cover the cost of those who are unable to pay for their meals, but have volunteered instead.

How is this related to vehicle stuff? The first kitchen location was in an autobody shop https://music.amazon.com/podcasts/c2d7bf52-643f-4279-8b7e-f9d7a74e686e/smartless starting at minute 39
