I got lucky and learned of the box set about 18 years ago when it was first for sale, right about the time The Far Side box set was released. Both are from the same fantastic publisher, Andrews McMeel, who also publishes another favorite of mine, Zits

One of my very favorites funnies. When I think of the opportunities Waterson had, and still has, to produce a cartoon movie of Calvin and Hobbes it makes me sad he walked away. So many of us can relate to Calvin as a kid, because it is us.
