Not sure if it's an EC rule that prompted the change, but we have street legal go-carts in Denmark now, with lights, turn signals etc. They're limited to 9 bhp, but still. The one below costs about US$ 7K.
C'mon, nobody buys a $7K go-cart for for anything but attention or for tearing around and have fun. Btw, the go-cart on the picture looks like an escape from one of those tracks where you rent the by the hour - big rear fender....

Isn't it cheaper, and better in wet and old weather, to get a used car? Great toy, but, only in great weather
