First Virginia is interesting, probably one of first P-51B(C?) with four blade propeller and still only 4x12.7mm MG in wings like in A model. Before introduction of D model the most heavily armed Mustang was "Apache" with 4 guns in wings and 2 in peculiar mounts in lower engine cowling with prop synchronization. So in theory you got 6 same MG's with 2 different firing speed. From ascetic point of view I always like early non-bubble canopy models.
