Damn, that's one hell of a job to be doing in a carport with a couple of cinder blocks for work stands. If it isn't lined up correctly it not only won't look right it won't drive right either, and there's no do-overs. Throwing a heavier and more powerful motor in definitely shows confidence in the workmanship. I'd be afraid of not getting the windshield right and having cracking problems.
Al, your right. That is one hell of a job. Strait and level, form and fit all critical to this kind of work. Looks like they pulled it off. I love a story with a happy ending. ;)
