some nice collectibles are still hitting the market, like this one owner 13,350 mile Shelby Charger

There could not be more than a handful of 80's Shelby Chargers in this new condition left, and I hope the new owner has a lot of fun with it, as it's value is never going to go up

Sold on Ebay from a popular vintage car dealership, it went for only $14,800 http://www.ebay.com/itm/221615986950?rmvSB=true  via  http://barnfinds.com/just-a-name-1983-shelby-charger/

  1. "Its value is never going to go up." There is a 99.9% chance that in the future, history will prove your prediction to be correct. I wouldn't pay that much for it now. In fact, I wouldn't rush out and buy it if any one of the digits in the selling price were removed.

On the other hand, consider those things in your previous post. Some people are willing to pay good money for those. 99 out of 100 people would less embarrassed to be seen driving a Shelby Charger than an Isetta, and there's no question that the Charger is a better car in every way. The fact that the value of an Isetta ever rose above the value of the same weight of scrap steel proves that anything is possible.

    1. I doubt any original Isetta engines are worth more than the trouble they cause to keep up, and the entire power train is a great idea to replace, but the darn things have a "cute" appeal. I have no idea how scary they must be in on a freeway with a semi heading in the opposite direction causing a hurricane force wind gust... but for bopping around in town, I'd love one
