Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, not only changed to a recognizable hat from the African nudu he swapped his Stetson for with the leader of the Bamileke tribe in Cameroon , but has a new video "I Gotsta Get Paid" with 4 hot rods... one is a So Cal Speedshop hot rod that I found at SEMA

from the gallery I just posted a couple days ago: http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2012/11/nice-hot-rod-i-didnt-see-anything-on-it.html

the above is the "Whiskey Runner" that Billy had the So Cal Speedshop make

This video got me wondering about what is new in the BFG car collection, and I came across an online magazine I've never heard of http://www.powerblocktv.com/mag/index.php where you can read a long interview with videos where they talk hot rods with the force behind the cars you already know, (Eliminator coupe, Cadzilla) and some you haven't learned of yet

here is a look at the other incredible coverage that Power Block magazine has had http://www.powerblocktv.com/mag/index.php

This post wouldn't have happened without George's pointing out that the car I posted a couple days ago was in the music video... thanks to George of dWrenched.com!

Best booth on a budget, the Absorber company had the Caswell Agency construct their booth for a 2nd year and it was a terrific small town gas station

Maps of various states and cities from the 1960's and 70's

Where in the world they found a Pepsi folding chair, is a total mystery

What a cool piece of garage wall art!

Both ends of a 55 gallon drum

The Caswell Agency is something amazing, and led by a very amazing guy. "Emperor" Chuck Caswell (the business card says so, and if you meet and talk with him, you'll be happy to refer to him this way too)

Chuck doesn't talk much about himself, so I will. Chuck was working at the Leo Burnett ad agency, and Leo did some amazing things you'll recognize... like coming up with the Jolly Green Giant, Morris the cat, Tony the Tiger, the Marlboro Man, and many more. Well, Chuck is creative in the same way and has made advertising great for companies like GMC, Union 76, Kellogs, Nestle, Pepsi, Allstate, and McDonalds... you get the idea. He is the go to guy for the companies who could go to anyone.

He is also (I just learned and wasn't aware of it when I talked to him at SEMA this year) the most recent "Man Of The Year" of the National Street Rod Association http://ironmenfoundation.org/Press.html

But I met him a couple years ago when he was at SEMA with a Cheetah http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2010/12/love-for-cheetah.html

Last year he had the only awesome car at SEMA (all other can't compare to the car signed by Congressional Medal of Honor awardees) and made a terrific booth for the Absorber company, and had the only car on grass in the convention center (terrific!) http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2011/11/metal-of-honor-duece-made-of-donated.html

I don't know more about the car than what I can see here, it has a Potvin Supercharger, a Vertex magneto, and a shifter from a  DeTomaso Pantera, turn signals in the headlight mount stalks, and air scoops on the front brakes. Amazing build quality throughout!

Con2R's Whee-Tee made from scratch, using a wheelbarrow for the roadster bucket

the wheel on the left looks worn down... because once they built it, they had some test drives, and did a lot of left turns, and the outside tire wore down a lot faster than the inside tire

Last year they had a great Ford Truck http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2011/11/64-ford-from-concept-2-reality-shocking.html at SEMA

Some Camaros are cool, and some are Yenkos. This one is better, it's Reggie Jackson's 427 Yenko
