ABC's Wide World of Sports were on hand to cover the 1966 NHRA World Finals in Tulsa Oklahoma. I think this qualifies as a "speed camera" and after the chair the other day, this is a pretty cool and unusual thing with wheels
Spent lots of weekends and Wednesday nights there back in the 70's. Wednesday night was race what you brung. I had the contract to completely rebuild the track back in the 90's. New tower, new lighting, new concessions, and new stands. Only thing that stayed was the track itself.
