"I had brought all my hot wheels toys and set them up like I was having my own car show Jay was so kind to me and was telling me facts about all the cars I had out."
"Then he signed my Pebble Beach brochure and I exclaimed to my mom's horror "Hey his signature has a big chin just like he does" mom said that was rude of me to say.
My dad laughed and said he probably didn't mind as that's his signature.
I wish there was a way I could show this to Mr Leno that he was very kind to a little boy 30 years ago and left a lasting impression"
Here is Jay's autograph I photographed, I thought you might want to see the chin in the autograph
That's a cool story.
ReplyDeleteLeno is about the only celebrity I would love to meet. Not because of his career, but for his car collection and knowledge.
I have been an arms length away a couple of times, and simply didn't try for any introduction... that is one BUSY guy everywhere he goes. It would be terrific to get some time to just simply TALK with him! But it would be at least 30 minutes, just to get past the trivial small talk!
