Of the three Scarabs only one was a left hand steer car. I believe that was the car converted to street use for Reventlow's wife. Due to the brakes never getting hot enough to stop she banged op the nose of that car they installed disk brakes on the front. When I built the FIA car we relicated the bronze brake linings just as they were build in 1959 and I will send you pictures of that project. George
great, thanks! I hadn't heard about Lance getting a Scarab for his wife!! And she smashed the front... I bet that didn't help the case for women drivers reputations for bad driving in the 60s
