The earl C model was always my favorite even though the later "bubble" canopies were faster. Just liked the metal skeleton better. Stewart as a regular at the Fort Worth military airfield where the B-36 was built and flew one of those bad boys during the filming of Strategic Air Command. Really a great movie if you are a B-36 fan and it's available on Youtube.
