out on walkabout, and I find another tractor used as yard art, an Allis Chalmers

I've posted about the Allis Chalmers model B in the past, my grand father had one for decades. He even had the engine rebuilt about a decade before he died, he'd worn that tractor OUT working with it all over his farm https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2018/01/does-anyone-recognize-what-manufacturer.html

  1. An Allis-Chalmers model B, designed by Brooks Srevens. Some would consider it an outright betrayal to paint over the AC Persian Orange with
any color other than orange. Year? Late 30's to mid 50's.

    1. That was my guess, as my Grand father had one, (I've posted about it a couple times) but yesterday was a strange day, and I just ran out of time to look this one up and verify my guess.
I took my ol Dodge back to the garage that did the upgrade, and thinking, very incorrectly, that they would be able to get the various things fixed in a day, decided to make a walking day of it, and save the money on Ubering back and forth which would be necessary if I just dropped it off.
Well, the day had mixed results. I did do a LOT of walking, for hours, and when I finally got home there was a lot going on online from a couple things, one being a hometown history facebook page I made, and the other was Sam Joe's Matchbox pages, and then I wanted to get a couple things posted, and I kid you not, time just flies and stuff gets forgotten
