interesting mix of racing cart and scooter

  1. Hey, I'm also building my 'VolksPod'! As soon as it's ready I'm sending pics of it besides my Beetle.

  2. Odd thing is that gokarts are street legal here in Denmark (some EU rule), provided they have lights, turn signals and mirrors. Limited to 9 bhp, though....

    1. and why not? As small as some street legal micro cars, and cycle cars, and motorcycles have been, a cart with lights, brakes, and hopefully a safety inspection to make sure they aren't leaking gas, and have insurance, I say let them have fun. Are bicycles allowed on those roads? Seems to me it's all about size and visibility to other drivers so there aren't any collisions because someone isn't seen

  3. I'm cool with street legal gokarts too, as for being visible in traffic they are also required to have a 2 metre flagpole and an orange flag.

Save for freeways and a few other restricted roads, if there's no bicycle path, cars and bikes bicycles share the road. Seeing that practically all car drivers also bicycle, or at least did when they were young, they are aware of what it is like to be a bicyclist out there.
