There is no premoderation. I post comments that aren't spam, and I won't post comments with links to other websites that only are in the comment to generate traffic. So, your comment would get posted without regard to it's ability to be funny. And, I guess you're welcome? For replying in a way you predicted? Umm, I didn't realize I could trick people into believing they had me figured out, and then make them comment to a question, and then shock them by replying with a recipe for a perfect peanut butter and jelly sandwich. But, now that you let it slip that I'm getting predictable? Peach jam, fresh from Ohio, not the stuff from Georgia, and peanut butter must be the honey roasted Skippy - on toast, hot toast, not bread. And thanks for the appreciation and compliment! I've been viewing the blog on and off for several years. The effort you put into it is admirable. I am totally the type of viewer you are reaching out to. All sorts of shared interests, especially the historical research. My only issue is that you tend to get needlessly pissy with people in the comments unless they agree with you. It's obvious that a successful blog such as this should contain far more (dare I say friendly?) interaction.

Well, I disagree, but that's because I see this website very differently than anyone else. It's a blog, not a website, it's not for making money with and impressing people, not for getting big stats and awards. It's for me. It's my daily diary of stuff I run across that I like, and when I'm older and alzheimers has really completed the memory wipe, I'll be so damn happy to have a website exactly of the things I have liked for years, and nothing else! That was the plan from the start. I never advertised, and am not completely sure how millions of people have come across this unadvertised page among billions on the internet. Since no one has ever had to register to view it, never had to pay to see all that content I've added, I can say with honesty that everyone has gotten more than they've paid for, and can't be entirely unsatisfied as there are around 39 thousand posts. I am not posting to achieve friendly interaction, I could get that by many other means if that was my intent. I have a dozen websites, blogs, tumblrs, and facebook pages. This one just gets the majority of my focus and attention. Also, isn't it interesting that if anyone is upset with the way I make my blog, they go away, and I only have people that like what I'm doing... so, in effect, the audience I have is one I have a friendly interaction with. They are mostly likeminded, and there are some daily commentors that I've told to fuck off and leave and never come back, and they refuse to do so. So, I must be doing something pretty good to have that sort of tenacity from people that don't like me, and that I don't like. I've hoped for this to result in getting hired to do this for some company, but that never happened. Oh well, I've enjoyed myself and made friends
