    thanks for posting this.
    I got to meet him a few years back at the Iola Old Car Show & Swapmeet.
    He was very pleasant and easy to talk with.

      you are welcome, but it's my pleasure and honor to give a notice that a wonderful guy and the driver a lot of us envy, did a wonderful amount of driving but has passed on. Doing this as news is a fitting moment to inspire others to reflect for a moment, like you just did, on a chance meeting with him, or a bit of envy or respect for his accomplishment. I don't do this for many people, as you rarely see me put up an obit type of post... but there are some wonderful people that have earned it, and so have their fans (for the reason I mentioned)
