1970 Ford Maverick Estate Coupe design concept - I've never seen this before, that back end is so stupid ugly it's utterly unforgettable, and that's how I know I've never seen it before

Ford exhibited the Maverick Estate Coupe concept vehicle at the 1971 Chicago Auto Show.

 The Estate Coupe had a dark green padded "Landaulet" roof over the rear seating, and the body finished in limefire green. That unique color used a subtle gold-flake base and complimented the avocado interior. 

Cast magnesium wheels had a spoke design reminiscent of the classic wire wheels.

what 60's car was such a hunk of junk, or so ugly, that you'd refuse to accept one if it was given to you (thanks to Nathan for inspiring this post question!)

 I'll go with a 60 Studebaker. Lark, Hawk, doesn't matter. Ugly, and I'm going to imaging impossible to get parts for like brake lines, brake pads, engine parts, etc. After all, a 65 year old Studebaker probably doesn't have much for parts support in the replacement parts anymore.

oh damn, this is so god awful uglyfied I'll be washing my eyes with sand and lemon juice for a month. What amount of LSD was used to used to get warped enough to think the grill and bumper look better body colored? (Kill me now)

and the flush mount windshield looks stupid too. WTF were they thinking? Its a Fisher Price "My First Mopar" toy? 

and they deleted the tail panel, trunk Bee, and side marker lights? What else did they dispose of, common sense and frontal lobes?
