a couple interesting things I saw at todays LaJolla Concours

that is one magnificent piece of woodwork

in the above car, in the armrest, is the radio control you see in the below photo

having a coachbuilders badge on your keychain? Pretty damn cool

1961 Clubsport 190 SL

this was the light in the back of a Rolls, there was no open window to get a good photo of it though

Finally found the Playmate AMX out where I could get a good gallery of it, I never noticed the dyno tune stickers before

Maserati Gran Sport body by Frua, falling apart by neglect in the Bailon collection, but you are still looking at 2.2 million dollars of old car

This Maserati shared the garage with the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder and was found when the garage was opened. One of the co-stars of the sale, this coupe by Frua was sold new by Garage Mirabeau on Avenue de Versailles in Paris after spending some time tempting buyers at the Paris Motor Show in the Grand Palais in October 1956.

Covered Wagon trailer.. very cool, all decked out inside with period correct camping stuff

screen door, that is great!

1936 Jaguar SS 100, barnfind. It was in a French barn, neglected, next to a Bugatti which buyers had learned about and were there to buy. Surprise, cool Jaguar discovered!

because it was a race car, they removed the license plates and painted the numbers on the fender
