Plymouth went all in for their 1970 Rapid Transit System Caravan, hiring Harry Bradley to design the cars looks, Bob Larivee to organize the concept and people involved, and Ridler Winner Chuck Miller to craft the Barracuda, and they acquired a clone of Don Prudhomme's funny car Barracuda

It's been in a garage since 1976, and only has 976 miles on it... the RTS Barracuda. It was bought in 1976 after the car show craze was over, and put into storage and never driven

I just learned how Steve Juliano found two of his Rapid Transit System Plymouths,

The '70 Hemi Road Runner had been found in Kalamazoo in '91, the story was that a pro athlete got it for a song, and was going to make a dedicated drag race car out of it, and sent it to a speed shop. But, he was cut from the team, and walked away from the Road Runner, and it's bill for upgrades.

The Green Duster was found abandoned in a Detroit parking garage.... with a machete and ammo in the trunk.

I believe it was green for the 1st road show, and then painted red for the 2nd Rapid Transit System road show
