It is called '"The Big Dig." One of my wife's cousins was an engineer on the project. It lasted for a long time to complete.
I'm sure it was overly expensive, but worth it in the end.
exactly... sure, there was probably teamsters, etc etc corruption with the politicians for the contracts, etc etc. it probably wound up costing twice the estimate. Or 3x. But, the effect was what they needed to accomplish
