because tickets were cheap before he got more famous and went to larger venues which immediately doubled, and tripled, and quadrupled prices, I went to two of his bar room performances.
Back then, the ticket was nearly the same price as a beer.
Anyway, I heartily recommend going to one of his performances, few people have this good a singing voice... like Freddy Mercury, only deeper
