I love a work truck, especially a real vintage one, that gets a 2nd life with a new undercarriage and power train

the interesting cars in the Disney movie The Worlds Strongest Man
notice the Cougar parked on the left
Looks like they disguised the Meyers Manx badge with a 60's flower sticker

1949 Rolls Royce, it was also in the Love Bug! https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-love-bug-scenes-in-san-francisco.html
and what is amazing is that the Rob Reisner Bathtub show car showed up in the scan of Dexter's (Kurt Russell) mind
with the bikini model, of course

Dan Gurney All American Racers Eagle Club was for joining up for a newsletter, might have been a fundraiser for the AAR F1 effort after a sponsor pulled out
and the renewal stickers
membership had another priveldge, access to the open house
where someone got a photo of the company truck, and likely, the only truck to ever sport the AAR decal

it's rare that I find a business that USES cool old work trucks on the daily job, it's been a couple years since the last landscaping company with old trucks post, but today Hagerty came across a International that's had 219 deliveries so far in ’23, 347 last year
Some work days are light, with just three or four deliveries. Others are almost nonstop; a few weeks ago he had 12 in a day. That’s a lot of work for any truck, much less one that’s nearly 80 years old.
Ron's daily driver is a '56 IH truck
The one I remembered was using Mack, Ford and Chevy, in Michigan https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2019/03/michigan-landscape-company-owner-gow.html

carpenters work trucks analyzed... what to get and why, by the Perkins brothers of North Carolina
it's been over a decade since I posted about some journeyman/handyman work trucks, ( I can't find the link, it's been a dozen years or so, and I didn't use the tag system back then ) and though I think this is important info type video content, not many pros are out there getting into the why and how of work trucks... they are probably too damn busy staying in business
helpful ideas like this bed extension for lumber... are new ideas to me. Very cool easy attachment to increase the trucks usefulness
