I came across an interesting magazine at Lightbox Expo last fall, the Art Directors Guild magazine, Perspective. This issue had a VERY in depth look at the Fast and Furious movies sets

Today I met a guy with his high school car from 2001, a Honda Prelude, and it's the car he was driving in Fast and Furious. That is pretty damn cool

I'll get more info another day... but what a great high school memory he's got, he had a car, and was an extra in a BIG Hollywood car movie

one of the Fast and Furious Chargers was at SEMA... it's interesting how good they look from a distance, but how obvious it is that they are slapped together when you see them in person up close

in order to maximize profits, movies are getting 2020 release dates cancelled this spring and summer... F9, the new Fast and Furious movie, has been pushed back from May 22, 2020, to April 2, 2021.

No doubt you've already heard of other movies that were supposed to get released this month that have been rescheduled for later this year, but this is the first one I've heard of that straight gave up on making money, and got a jump on all the competition by getting into next years calendar for the prime release weekend

They should have put this out long before the release of the 8th movie in the Fast and Furious series. They released this only 2 days before the movie... not bright
