It was built by Alain Cerf who owns the Tampa Bay Auto Museum. He drove it in downtown Tampa last year for display at the inaugural Gasparilla Concour's d'Elegance. Made for a pretty cool sight, but I'm surprised it's licensed.
That name sounds familiar... anyway, wow, owns the museum? Dang! That's got to be hard to make profitable, and on top of that, have the cash to build replicas of famous ancient steam cars! I'm surprised it's licensed too
Was seriously surprised to see the Florida license plate.
ReplyDeleteWere they trying to be funny, or does Florida actually require them to register this vehicle?
probably required so it can be used on public city streets... but I am guessing. I haven't spoken with these guys to learn about their replica
Delete1790 ! amazing, they still have trouble making it go today. Thanks for sparing us the first minute.
