What does a 1 of 4 1931 Studebaker Commander and a 1976 Ferrari built for SCCA racing have in common? They're both part of the Genius Garage Racing Team program for college students in Bowling Green, Ohio

Genius Garage was created to bridge the gap from academia to industry giving students with spark an opportunity to grow and prove their worth to potential employers. This gives them the best possible transition from the academic world to their professional careers.

Students from academic backgrounds ranging from engineering to fine art, music, business, and journalism prep for competitions, going on field trips, and get an emphasis on team building and learning from mentors.

However, with the addition of two new programs, Genius Garage expanded into both the Aerospace and Automotive Design industries.

2018 was the inaugural year for the Aerospace Team and was dedicated to building a WWI Sopwith Camel biplane from the ground up

Genius Garage is run by volunteer professional mentors, and has volunteers, speakers, and leaders with a range from global CEOs to sports professionals, fighter pilots, racing engineers, members of Interpol, entrepreneurs, and even Chief of Staff to Sir Winston Churchill.

The Genius Garage concept is be an educational model working toward getting students a job, an internship, or scholarship attention and placement by involving students with a non-profit for collaborations between manufacturers, racing teams, business and educational institutions, museums, and generous private persons in  automotive racing and aviation, to get bright young minds their shot to show the world what they are capable of and begin a career that warrants achievement at their full potential.
