I can't believe all the nitwits who try to stretch the hose to the other side instead of turning around... I'm lucky, my fuel gauge has an arrow telling which side, so I don't look like a dummy...
yup... but back in the day, there was plenty of hose to get around a car, or to get to the rear license plate fuel tank access in many cases... it cured a lot of mistakes
