that is one strange Rolls Royce, but they have their own gas pump in the yard! (Thank you Rolf!)
In 1933 this lightweight and streamlined body was fitted for Alan Bemis to pull his glider up into the air.
It was given an aluminum body with Plexiglas (Perspex) rear windows, fairly new materials in the 1930s. The dashboard was made of cast aluminum.
The car had a fin shape at the rear and a tow hook on the back, while the roof had Perspex panels.

Monteverdi High Speed 375, a grand tourer meant to tackle Ferrari head-on while armed with 440s and 426 hemis, a simple chassis, and a glove box full of dreams.
A partnership with Ferrari was eventually secured, along with working relationships with Lancia and BMW.
Peter helmed the dealership business, with his father acting as a sort of overseer, despite the business being largely run on his own capital. However, Monteverdi was cast out of Ferrari's inner circle after failing to pay for a 100-car inventory shipment to his dealership, angering Enzo Ferrari himself.
So, instead of trying to repair his relationship with Ferrari he began producing his own, home-grown luxury grand tourer with its design and production by Frua. By 1968, Monteverdi moved its design and production to Carrozzeria Fissore.The "375" in the High Speed's nomenclature is derived from the SAE Gross Horsepower Output found in the Chrysler 440

a 1938 Packard built by Kellner with part of the rear body section of a 1930 Renault Reinstella Torpedo Scaphandrier
the original owner is believed to be George Hormel II, heir to the meat-packing Hormel Foods Corp. and owner of the historic Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix, AZ.
During the 1950s, this Packard was purchased by J.B Nethercutt collection.
In 1961, it was purchased by the Harrah collection. The car remained in his collection for the next 24 years before being sold in 1985, to Tom Monaghan the founder of Domino’s Pizza who had a world class collection
The car remained in the Domino’s Classic Car Collection until 1989, before joining the Blackhawk Collection
THAT is a couch! And it was put in this Packard about 20 years before seatbelts were invented

twenty three hundred 2002s were converted by coachbuilder Karosserie Baur, to feature a removable roof section that can be stored in the trunk.
Meanwhile, the rear window section is soft cloth that folds down for an almost totally open-air experience. The rear deck of a regular 2002 is already long, but with the top down this one almost looks like a pickup truck in profile.
