'American' car devised by Chicago industrialist Stanley H. "Wacky" Arnolt, in actuality a Bristol chassis shipped from the UK to Italy for Bertone bodywork designed by Franco Scaglione. Most of the approximately 142 built were then shipped to and sold in the US.

1954 Arnolt-Bristol Bolide Deluxe Roadster gifted to Hugh Hefner by Stanley Arnolt II in 1960 was the highest specification of all the Arnolt-Bristols, and is one of 37 roadsters built, the styling from Scaglione who was at Bertone

Hefner himself wouldn’t keep it long, passing it along to one of the Bunnys

A collection of bucks from Bristol Cars Ltd. have been discovered in an abandoned factory in Windlesham, Surrey after it was announced earlier this year that the car company was going into liquidation after 74 years, and it's assets had to be itemized
