the Foose exhibit took up and end of the North hall, 20 cars very spaced out with no displays to fill in around them

this one on the bottom was at a local San Diego car cruise some years ago, in 2007, and is a beautiful car that shows what an obscure Plymouth Savoy can look like with blank check financing and extremely talented design.

It was designed by Foose, built by Trepanier, for Poteet https://radrides.com/completed-builds/1954-plymouth-sniper just 3 years after Rad Rides by Troy became a business, and auctioned off in 2002 https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/1954-PLYMOUTH-SNIPER-CUSTOM-23113

it cost half a million to make, and had a half a dollar of security, so the thieves had zero problem stealing it from a hotel parking lot along with its trailer and 99 Ford dually. But unlike so many other show cars and race cars thieves have stolen this for 70 years or more, this one was found after 15 years. Yes, I'm saying rich people are stupid

built by Rad Rides By Troy in 2006, and displayed at the Eaton booth during the 2006 SEMA show, this 1937 Ford convertible with an Eaton supercharger won the prestigious Mother's Shine Award.

Rad Rides by Troy's team put in more than 8,500 hours into building the custom vehicle for its private owner who didn't even drive it, instead sent it out on the trophy circuit car shows throughout North America and was being transported in a 32’ trailer sponsored by Eaton.

The truck was a white 99 Ford F350 four-door crew cab dually with a 32-foot goose-neck trailer

Not only did Foose customize a classy car, so did Rad Rides by Troy. Hmmm, I see a glitch in the matrix, when customizers better known for hot rods and horsepower mods get into more iconic and classy models instead

Just like Leno's Bronco, I only took one photo as this seems boring. Sure, it's more perfect than any other 59 Caddy, but, there's nothing that actually grabs attention to the person walking by.

If Troy Trepanier is a new name to you, here's a single fast look at the amazing builds he has done before https://radrides.com/completed-builds/

He was just inducted into the SEMA Hot Rod Industry Alliance Hall of Fame, by the way.

And the Cadillac, is now the most recent Triple Crown Winner as in the past weekend it was the clear choice over the 65 Chevelle built by Mike Goldman Customs, a 1932 Ford Vickybuilt by Dave Lane of FastLane, the 1965 Pontiac 2+2 built by the Roadster Shop, Jack Sheppard's 1953 Chevy, the Chad Adams 1932 Ford roadster and the 1956 Pontiac built by Customs by Kilkeary, at the Shades of the Past show in TN.

Wheel Hub Magazine https://www.facebook.com/wheelhubmag/photos/a.1686801134694248/3148182125222801  did a thorough article and photo shoot on it already. Issue 7, starting on page 127, and it's a damn shame they don't put the same material online... so I could make it easy for you to read and see what they had to say. The engine bay info is particularly essential for seeing what was done to make it so nice

like the fake valve covers over the ignition coil packs

Why should they? Well, they gave the magazine away for free, so, why hold back on making it available online for everyone else to get a look at? They would likely get a lot more people to subscribe if they did, you know?

This Caddy only has 30,000 original miles for example. It's been owned by car collector Larry Wilcox for over 20 years, and he decided to blank check it with Troy Trepanier for perfect fit and finish, an upgrade on the power train, etc. Now it's got a Cadillac CTSV, a Bowler overdrive 4L80E, Wilwood brakes and a 12 bolt

this is one beautiful car... would you expect anything less from a blank check build by Troy Trepanier?

More than 300 applications were submitted for the 2017 SEMA Battle of the Builders contest, which were whittled down to the Top 40, then the Top 12

The last 3 cars in contention for the top prize wereTroy Trepanier’s 1929 Ford Model-A Tudor sedan, Alan Johnsons 1932 Ford Tudor and Troy Ladd's AMBR winning  1936 Packard roadster

Agnes, the newest custom by Troy Trepanier

I dig the nose, but why anyone wants to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to make a 3 door look like this is something I can't understand. Must be a sentimental thing
